Background of performance test
VoltaPC’s computers arent only for gaming, they also perform well in a professional setting. In today’s article, we will show how well our Model A performs at 3D modelling using AutoCAD Inventor®. A brief overview of AutoCAD Inventor®; Inventor® 3D CAD is a professional-grade tool for mechanical design, documentation, and product simulation.
Our benchmark tests will compare performances for a standard work PC you can find in the office. Inventor® is set for Quality (Inventor® will prioritize for best model quality).Â
We used AutoCAD Inventor 2021 with Inventor Benchmark Ver 1.8.0.0
These are our comparison metrics: We will be comparing modeling test time(s), graphics test time(s) and graphic test refresh rate(hz)

Conclusion
The Model A provides performance improvements of up to 2x the speed for basic modelling and x26 faster performance for graphics intensive modeling. As you can also see, the Model A is able to run inventor on quality settings as well as it does on performance mode.
Upgrading to a Model A for work will undoubtedly provide a vastly discernible improvement in work productivity
All of our models are utilises Nvidia RTX Graphic cards, which If you are running Inventor 2023, you can utilise the new in-development GPU Ray-tracing function on Inventor which potentially provides even higher performance and quality utilising the GPU instead of the CPU. You can find out more in the AutoCAD Inventor page.
