Lian Li announced a new line of fans with LCD displays at Computex 2023. The fans are called the UNI FAN TL LCD, and they feature a 2.1″ circular LCD display in the center of each fan. This is the world’s first case fan to offer an LCD screen that is fully customisable and can feature GIFs, videos, system information, and more.
The 120mm UniFan TL LCD Series takes advantage of Lian-Li’s neat no cable connection, where up to four fans can interlock with each other with a single cable going to a fan header on your motherboard. It has a 9-blade design and are also PWM controlled.

The displays can be used to show system information, such as CPU temperature, GPU temperature, and fan speed, or they can be used to display custom images or GIFs. Like some of Lian Li’s other fans, these fans can be daisy chained in a series using edge connectors and magnetic attachments. Each group then attaches to a special controller designed for these fans. Ultimately, the video signal will get fed into the fans via a USB header.
The fans are compatible with the Lian Li L-Connect 3 software, which allows users to customize the fan speed, colour, and display settings.
The UNI FAN TL LCD fans are expected to be released in Q3 2023. The MSRP for a single fan is $129.99, and the MSRP for a three-pack is $389.99.

The upcoming Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD also has a striking similarity and resemblance to its predecessor the UNI FAN SL V2.
UNI FAN SL V2 offers the ability to daisy chain up to two clusters to a single hub port. The daisy-chaining solution reduces the number of cables needed to power 2 clusters and enables new lighting effects to be continuous between the two bridged clusters.
The Lian Li UNI FAN SL V2 comes in 2 sizes and colours, which are 120mm and 140mm respectively. Although it has no LCD screens, it has adjustable RGB. Users can control and adjust fan RPM, colors, brightness and lighting effects with the L-Connect software.
